Surrey Farm is a premium range of selected, 21 day matured, English beef.
Our mission is to created beef which is consistently delicious. To achieve this we employ a few simple but important criteria from gate to plate.
First we focus on selecting livestock which have grazed natural pastures or enjoyed a healthy grass based diet, we then carefully select cattle which are well finished with excellent confirmation and just the right amount of fat cover.
Our boutique plant at Guilford just outside London has been specially set up to process beef in the traditional fashion, carcasses are carefully hung on the bone to ensure the beef is deliciously tender prior to cutting, the premium steak cuts are then carefully trimmed, graded by hand and placed into our maturation chillers where they spend a minimum of 21 days.
This whole process has been designed to ensure that Our beef adheres to the highest standards of quality and safety, maintaining our ethos ‘Created by nature, selected by hand, matured by time’.
